Welcome to Vintage Motors of Lyons

Front of the shop in Lyons

We sell, consign, purchase, and locate cars of interest for folks that appreciate them. We  always carry an eclectic selection of classics. Whether you are wanting that perfect  Sunday driver, a project car, or a higher end investment, we probably have a car that you will enjoy!

I have been passionate about cars since I was a kid in the '50's and '60's and bought my first car while in high school, which was a then 10 year old 1958 MGA. Since then I have enjoyed and nurtured many classics, both foreign and domestic. I decided to follow and share my passion for cars by creating a welcoming marketplace to not only sell cars, but open a place for everyone to come in and check out and talk cars, look at car books, magazines, posters, artwork, etc..

Our shop was originally built as a Texaco gas station in the 1940's and is conveniently located at the junction of the two highways leading to the Rocky Mountains just north west of Boulder. You won't miss us at the west end of Main Street.  Lyons is a fun, small town offering nationally known live music festivals and brewpub; shops and great fly fishing, kayaking, tubing, hiking, and mountain biking.  The South St. Vrain Canyon is among many great driving roads in the area.

The best part of this business has been all of the great people we meet. Thanks for visiting our site and I hope to meet you whenever you are in the area.

1988 Toyota FJ62 Land Cruiser For Sale

1988 FJ62 Land Cruiser Wagon For Sale. Runs and drives very well. Body is straight without accident damage but has typical Cruiser surface rust (see photos).

Very well maintained for the past five years by most recent owner and there are service records back to 6/04.  New automatic transmission, transmission oil and cooler and temp gauge less than 6,000 miles ago; new battery (6/17); recent tune, just passed emissions. Very good tires (less than 5,000 miles on them); lockout front hubs.

Sold new in Albuquerque, NM; original owners manual, jack and tool kit.  162,944 miles (low for a Cruiser!)

Good engine, recent new transmission, runs/drives well, very good interior, relatively clean underneath, body rust in spots – all and all a good driver and priced right! Ready to do wherever you’d like it to take you.

Original Champagne (#27) paint. The worst of the surface rust on the body is on the tailgate and around the rear wheel wells with the right side showing more rust than the left side.

AC needs re-charged but components intact and working; rear tailgate struts need replaced as does rear wiper.

Interior (seats, door panels, carpets, dash, floor mats) in very good condition.

Seats five adults comfortably with seat belts; has separate rear heater. Rear seat folds flat for large capacity rear stowage.

Original tool kit, jack, owners manuals; service records.

Original powerful 4.0 liter, in line six cylinder, overhead valve, fuel injected 3F engine.  Power steering; tilt wheel.

Spare tire and wheel underneath.

As you can see, the truck is not very rusty underneath at all; some surface rust but nothing critical that we see.
